The network is currently searching for vibrant and single parents for the chance to find love.

A spokesman has reported: ‘ITV1 are looking for people from across the UK to nominate their vibrant & single parents to join the search for love, by spending time in a luxury retreat together’.

‘This is the ONLY dating show where single parents can search for love, by spending time in a luxury retreat, where all the parents have been nominated by their grown up children,’ the casting announcement reads.

The new show, titled The Romance Retreat, will feature contestants residing in a luxurious villa in the hopes of finding love.

It is not yet known if the winners of The Romance Retreat will receive a cash prize at the conclusion of the series.

Love Island has become a cultural phenomenon in recent years, with its combination of romance, drama, and sun-soaked setting captivating audiences of all ages.

However, this new series will focus on a different demographic, giving middle-aged singles the opportunity to find love on national television.

Single parents are particularly encouraged to apply, as the show will be a great opportunity for them to find love while balancing their responsibilities as a parent.

The producers have also unveiled a preview of the new villa for the show, which is a contemporary and beautiful pad located in a sunny, undisclosed location.

Applications are open until Friday, March 31.

Davina McCall made it clear that she was ‘begging’ ITV bosses to hire her to host a ‘midlife’ version of the programme.

Speaking on the Diary of a CEO podcast, she said she has no embarrassment or shame about emailing a TV company or the head of a TV company and going ‘have you thought about this?’

The series is set to air later this year, and it’s already generating a lot of buzz. We assume the show will be produced by the same team behind the original Love Island, ensuring that the same level of excitement and drama will be brought to the screen.
