The eighth series of Love Island is just around the corner and bosses at ITV have chosen to give the programme a full makeover.
Love Island have opted to rent a brand-new villa in Majorca and even though the contestants are still yet to be announced, the place where they are going to be staying is nearing completion.
The luxurious villa is going to welcome a new batch of sexy singletons, with crews working hard to add the finishing touches to the property.
The new property comes with a 20m long swimming pool, and of course, the fire pit that we all know and love.
The Previous Villa has been Sold for £2.57 Million
The previous villa used for the Love Island show was used for a total of five years, but it has since been sold for a whopping £2.57 million. Bosses have said that they hope the new location will enhance the show.
It certainly looks to have paid off too, as the new villa is a sun trap and surrounded by fields, offering the contestants full privacy for their saucy antics.
Features of the New Love Island Villa
Producers have chosen to make the gym area much bigger, so in this season of the show, love interests can now watch their flames pump iron from a distance.
Aerial photos seem to show an outdoor pool, the famous firepit and of course, a complete outdoor kitchen.
The kitchen is decorated with fairy lights and adds a lot of romantic ambience.
Kevin Lygo, who is the managing director has released a statement saying that they rented the last property and that they are trying to keep the new villa under wraps as much as possible.
That hasn’t stopped some details from being leaked, although it looks like we’ll have to wait to see the villa in all of its beauty when the eighth season debuts.
